- Coast Capital Savings Grant, Matsqui-Abbotsford Impact Society, Abbotsford, BC, Created proposal and compiled all grant application materials and relevant statistics to support the “Abby Youth Inclusion and Leadership Initiative” in coordination with Abbotsford Community Services, Ministry of Children and Family Development, Abbotsford School District, Abbotsford Youth Commission – to initiate a youth advisory council.
- Telus Community Grant, Matsqui-Abbotsford Impact Society, Abbotsford, BC, Created proposal and compiled all grant application materials and relevant statistics to support the “Full Impact” drug abuse prevention pilot project at Abbotsford Collegiate High School and Bakerview Learning Centre, including student, parent and staff training components.
- Eagles Auxiliary Club Grant, Matsqui-Abbotsford Impact Society, Abbotsford, BC, Created proposal and compiled all grant application materials and budget to support annual summer client activities, including a 3-week activity group and a camping trip.
- Soroptimist Club Grant, Matsqui-Abbotsford Impact Society, Abbotsford, BC, Created proposal and compiled all grant application materials and budget to support the “Client Media Creation Initiative” to provide opportunities for self-expression and employment skills development.
- Nutcracker Whistler Funding, Rio Tinto Alcan, The BMW Store, Vancouver, BC, Created materials and package to solicit corporate sponsorship, met with numerous potential sponsors, successfully receiving support for six performances of the 25-member Goh Ballet Company at Whistler’s Millennium Place.
- Developing Artist Grant, Hnatyshyn Foundation, Ottawa, Ontario, Awarded to Kostyantyn Kesheshev of the Goh Ballet. Nomination and application initiated and completed by Brian Gross.
- Associate Students Operational Grant, California State University, Fullerton, Presented to support yearly operations of the student internet radio station. Faculty advisor, grant writer.
- Dean’s Technology Award, California State University, Fullerton, Presented by the Dean of the College of Communications for incorporating cutting-edge technology into course material, including computer animation and web design using Macromedia Flash and non-linear audio editing using Cakewalk Pro Audio
- Millennium Grant, City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department, One-year artist grant to design and implement a creative arts program at My Friend’s Place, a privately operated service center for homeless youth. Taught weekly workshops, web site design and maintenance, publication, and performance
- James Irvine Foundation Grant , Awarded to fund a three-year creative writing seminar at LAUSD’s EAGLES Centers. Proposal created by Brian Gross and Amy Jones and submitted through Community Arts Partnership, Valencia, California

- WEST COAST COLLEGE OF MASSAGE THERAPY, New Westminster, BC, Guest Lecturer. Developed and delivered 10-week, interactive, advanced ethics course for Registered Massage Therapists, covering the RMT Ethical Code, self-care techniques, communities of practice, communication skills, employment issues, transference and counter-transference. Developed and delivered 8-week professional research and writing course, covering professional biographies; design, evaluation and documentation of research projects; press release writing.

- BRITISH COLUMBIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, Burnaby, BC, Organizational & People Development. Overhauled schedules and metrics tracking operations, migrating and combining numerous redundant paper-based systems to a fully on-line, one-stop, real-time system. Developed, administered and evaluated pre-employment writing and software competency assessments, providing results to requesting departments. Conducted one-on-one instruction and training for staff, faculty and students on numerous software titles.
- ENGLISH FIRST, Jakarta, Indonesia, English as a Second Language Teacher: Basic, Conversational, Test Preparation and Business. Developed creative learning exercises that incorporated writing, acting, music and art. Stream-lined and standardized testing by converting tests into digital and computer-based formats. Evaluations from students and Director of Studies at the top of the teacher pool.

Composed for critically acclaimed Los Angeles-based modern dance company, performed nationwide, including: The Electric Lodge, Venice; Buriel Clay Memorial Theatre, San Francisco; Cal Poly Pomona, Pomona; and the Japanese-American Performing Arts Center, Los Angeles.
- ADSR MUSICWERKS, Seattle, Washington, Composer and Vocalist: Apocrypho; Spiritual Cannibal. Electronic Body Music (EBM) debut album of 12 tracks. Several tracks featured on compilation albums from: Chain DLK (Germany), DSBP (Germany), Daft Records (Holland) and others.
- BARNSDALL MUNICIPAL ART GALLERY, Los Angeles, California, Installation Artist. Created “Flow,” a 20’x25’ room installation, including four paintings, 15 drawings, 2 comic strips, a painted desk and 34 interactive sound elements. - HIGHWAYS PERFORMANCE SPACE, Santa Monica, California, Playwright/Composer:If I Were Lost. Two act musical, written and composed by Brian Gross – for eight actors. A critically-acclaimed gender-bent, multi-media love Cuisinart with music. Directed by Mike Kelly. Also on DVD.

OBERING CONTEMPORARY ART, Los Angeles, California, Visual Artist.Included in group show "...The line dropping off the page..." focusing on questions raised by various aspects of drawing, which refer to marking, space and architecture. Curated by Karin Sander. Seven paintings and drawings exhibited.
- HIGH PERFORMANCE MAGAZINE, Los Angeles, California, Recording Coordinator & Composer. Arranged recording time for 26 Los Angeles artists and composed “Numb,” an urban jazz song released on CD insert in High Performance Magazine's "The Verdict & The Violence" issue after the 1992 Los Angeles Uprising
